TAV FALCO : The Drone Ranger

Musician, film-maker and photographer Tav Falco formed 'art damage' provocateurs Tav Falco's Panther Burns with Alex Chilton in Memphis in 1978 and they recorded their first album with Rough Trade two years later. Now based in Vienna, Falco still leads the Panther Burns, a raw and unholy group featuring the cream of Italian rock'n'roll musicians. Along the way he's been involved with the New York No Wave scene (1979-80), made a film with Kenneth Anger (1996) and released his first book of photography (2015). Falco releases the "Drone Ranger" single on Blang in 2017, a collaboration with ex-Spacemen 3 cosmonaut Sterling Roswell who played guitar and produced the sessions. Ex-Panther Burns and now Bad Seed drummer Jim Sclavunos plays drums on 'Drone Ranger'.
